He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Rose Farmer. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Diane of whom he was married to for over 48 years. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren who were his pride and joy; Clayton Doucette (Stefani), Cole Doucette, Jordan Doucette, Kyle Doucette, Jenna Walker (Bryan), Dakota Walker, Spencer Walker, Morgan Walker, Nichelle Farmer and Nicholas Farmer and their mother, Teri Ellison. Harry retired in August 1997 after working for Canfor for over 40 years in the Nimpkish Valley where he resided in Nimpkish and Woss. Harry and Diane moved to the Comox Valley in 1998 where he enjoyed the rest of his retirement years doing what he loved best - gardening and enjoying their dogs, Captain, Leo and Katie. Special thanks to the staff at Glacier View Lodge for taking such loving care of Harry these past few weeks. No service by request. Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C. entrusted with arrangements. For those wishing, donations in Harry's memory made to Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Road, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 9G8 would be greatly appreciated.
