Hazel passed away peacefully at 4:30 am September 30, 2007 in her residence of the past 5 years, Morgan Place Care Facility, Surrey, BC.
Mom - Nana - was born March 1, 1911 in Cumberland, Vancouver Island and spent the last 45 years mainly in New Westminster, Surrey and Cloverdale.
Survived by her loving son Ray Walker and grandchildren Keven (Brenda) and Rebecca Walker; great-grandchildren Colton, Keenan and Quinten Onushko and Karleigh-Ann Walker; also step great-grandchildren Trevor and Matthew Walters; sister Margaret Cameron and sisters-in-law Alma and Muriel Gibson; nieces and nephews on the mainland and Vancouver Island.
Mom - Nana - will join her parents Jack and Gertrude (nee: Grant), sisters Mary and Cleo, brothers Robert, Herbert, Kenneth and daughter-in-law Marilyn Walker (nee: Gray).
Also her husband of 28 years, Louis, who died May 3, 1969 and friend of 22 years, Ralph Lucas, who died in 1995.
Family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Morgan Place staff for their care and devotion. Also Pastor Ken.
Cremation - no service by request. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
