MARR, Hazen A.
1931-2006
After a courageous battle with cancer Hazen died peacefully passed into the presence of the Lord on June 14, 2006. Beloved husband of Patricia Marr. Loving Dad to Mary (Frank), Barbara (Rod), Linda (Cliff), Michelle, Monique and Michael. Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Katherine, Peter, Matthew, Philip, Brendan, Cameron, Brittany, Jessica, Justin, James, Jade and nephews Ryan and Nigel. Will be sadly missed by his sister Esther (Ed) and Sylvia, Viljo, Christine, Bob, Christopher, Kate, Maxwell and Rebecca.
Hazen served for four years in the RCAF unit in Clinton, ON before joining CNCP as Director of Regulatory Matters Government. He was a long time member of the Coast Guard Aux. and he spent many hours rescuing people on Lake Ontario. He was a past Commodore of the Frenchman’s Bay Club in Pickering, ON.
The family wish to extend profound gratitude to Dr. David Bowler and Dr. Tanya Austin, Marjorie Warke, the nurses and their assistants as they cared for Hazen around the clock each day as he started his journey to be with the Lord. Special thanks to Tim at the Medicine Shoppe, VIHA Home Care Nurses, Home Support and the Comox Valley Hospice Society.

A Memorial Service will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 218 Church Street, Comox on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 10:30 am.
