Helen Edith Tomaszewski

Helen, a resident of Courtenay, born Jan. 28, 1958 in Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully in her home at Glacier View, May 2, 2019 at the age of 61, after a wonderful day with her children, sister and loved ones gathered around her.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her surviving siblings, Birdie (Tippy) Pilon and Dianne (Rick) Robbin, her children; Cynthia (Brian) Anderson, Melissa (Darren) Horler and Nicolas Tomaszewski, her grandchildren; Tyrell and Trinity Horler, Cecilia and Gilford Anderson, and Darren, Sophia and Olivia Tomaszewski, as well as many extended family and dear friends.
Helen touched many lives with her spice and laughter which will echo through our memories. Even when life got tough, she fought against all odds, with her resilience and perseverance.
Prayers and reflections, to celebrate Helen's life, will be offered at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Comox Valley Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road.
