Hilda passed away on October 4, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Germany on March 26, 1922.
Hilda had a wicked sense of humor throughout her whole life and right up to the end. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and when the grand kids came along they became her entire world. She had many fond memories and stories as a longtime member of the Canadian Daughters.
She is predeceased by her husband Colin Harvey Strachan and 14 brothers and sisters. Hilda is survived by her daughters Caroline Strachan and Sharon Ladouceur; grandchildren Shaun Ladouceur, Devin Ladouceur, Jada Ladouceur, Austin Ladouceur, and Xavier Ladouceur; nephews Owen Carney, Norman Nassachuk, and Neil Pederson; nieces Dolly Ludlow, Susan Nassachuk, and Jamie Dawson; Pat and Barry Rusch, companion Eric Tope and so many more nieces and nephews and friends.
