McGill - Hugh Thomas, born November 7th, 1922 in Almonte, Ontario, passed away March 7th, 2003, aged 80 years. Survived by his devoted wife Edith (of 55+ years); brother Stew McGill (Marjorie); daughters Judy (Bernie) Calvert and Beverly (John) Coleman; granddaughters Leanne (Darryl) Kujat, Tanya (Flint) Keil, Samantha (Joel) Stainer and Jaime (Brad) Gibson; great grandchildren Joshua and Emma Kujat, as well as many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay, BC, on Saturday, March 15th, 2003 at 1:30 pm.
