Passed away peacefully after a short illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox. Born in Hanna, AB to Reginald and Ivy Sturgess, she is predeceased by her parents, her brother Phill, and her husband Henning. She is survived by her daughters Sharon (Ali) and Shirley (Roger) and thirteen grandchildren. Rose was very active in church and community life and will be missed by her family and many friends and acquaintances.
Viewing will be at Piercy’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be officiated by Fr. Bill Klock on Thursday, March 24 at 1pm at Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay, BC.
