January 25, 1922 – September 8, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on September 8, 2016 of Ivy Ann Tame, a good Scottish woman born on Robbie Burns day. She was born in Comox, BC to Piper William Wallace Stewart and Mary Champ Stewart. Predeceased by her husband, John Chandler Tame; brothers, Sandy, Don, and Bill; and sister Mary.
Survived and much loved by daughters, Peggy and Louise; sister, Evelyn; sister in-law, Inez; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as family in other parts of Canada, Scotland, Great Britain, the United States, and Australia.
Thank you to Dr. Brad Bell, Rhonda Scudds PT, Naomi, and Dr. White, and the caring staff on the 4th floor at Nanaimo Regional Hospital.
In keeping with Ivy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider honouring Ivy’s memory by making a donation in her name to your favourite charity.
