It is with great sadness we announce the passing of J. Shirley Lowe, after bravely battling her 3rd round of cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, William (Bill) Lowe, her sisters Josey Scott, Diane Anderson, Val Pearce and Helen McLoughlin, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her Mother, Agnes Stacey, her Father, Joseph (Joe) Stacey and sisters, Sofie Krowchuck and Carolyn Stacey.
Shirley was a lifetime resident of Courtenay and will be missed by all the people she touched.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Legion in Courtenay from 1-4pm on Sunday March 30, 2014.
