GEIGER - Jack, of Black Creek, BC went to be with his Lord early in the morning of November 1, 2008 at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife, Willene and sons Dwight (Sandra) of Sooke, Grant (Bev) of Ladysmith, Brian (Sandy) of Black Creek, Bruce (Katja) of Nanaimo and his daughter Laura (Ivano) of Victoria. There are 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his sisters Monica, Georgie, Kate and Marie; he is survived by his brothers Greg and Ernie, and sisters Madge, Tillie, Louise, and Frances all of Sask.
Jack established Maplecroft Dairy Farm in Black Creek in 1978 and with determination, hard work, patience and love lived to see a dream realized with flowing green fields, large barns and employment opportunities. His gentleness, quiet ways and simple faith will be remembered by his large family and many friends.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1 pm from Ladysmith Baptist Church with the Reverend Dwight Geiger officiating. Funeral arrangements in care of Piercy’s Mt Washington Funeral Home, Courtenay, BC.
