Jack Vincent

September 21, 1924 – June 17, 2007

Passed away peacefully at home in Cumberland with family by his side after a short battle with cancer.

Jack attended Lampson St. Elementary, Esquimalt High, U Vic and UBC. He enlisted in the RCAF in 1942 and served 3 years wartime as a pilot and 5 years post war also as a pilot and an air traffic controller. He then joined Bapco Paint as B.C. sales rep for 6 enjoyable years and then moved to West Vancouver and managed a successful restaurant and catering business for 6 years. He served in D.N.D. for 30+ years retiring in 1991 from Technical Services Dept., Esquimalt where he encountered many great people. Jack touched many lives over the years and the family he loved so well feel privileged to have known him. Jack is survived by his wife Judy, daughter Susan Van Humbeck, son Rod Kent-Fawkes (Doreen O’Hare), stepson Jaret Watson, granddaughter Christina (Derek), sister Doreen Andrews, sister-in-law Beth Taylor (Peter Logan) and five great grandchildren of whom he was very proud. No service at Jack’s request.
