Born April 30, 1947 Soest, Netherlands. Bart went to be with the Lord November 14, 2005.
Tremendously loved by all his family. Predeceased by his parents Renus & Jacqueline Van Herwaarden and his sister Marlien Slingsby. Cherished by his children David & Vicky Van Herwaarden (Mariaha, Jaidon, Cheyenne, Cindy, Dave Halls (Kai, Tayja, Jennika) and beloved wife Lynn Van Herwaarden. Survived by his siblings Rick Van Herwaarden, Betty Carr, Les Van Herwaarden, Lydia O’Brien and Irene Augustine. Sadly missed by the extended American Family of Sam & Joan Kysar. We will love & miss our great outdoorsman!
A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will take place Thursday, November 17, at 2:00pm from Comox Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Comox Valley Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road entrusted with arrangements.
