James passed away May 29, 2006 in the Toronto General Hospital. James will sadly be missed by his family: his parents Dan & Irene Amstutz; brother & (best friend) Brandon
Amstutz; grandmothers: Helen Crerar (Princeton), Flo Mclean & Rose Johnston; uncle & aunt Bob & Hilda Young, Dean Shelly & Cheyenne Brown of Sechelt, BC; uncle David (Ucluelet, BC ), uncle & aunt John & Annie Schellenberg, uncle Real Dionne, Vancouver, BC; all the Wal-Mart Family....and the many other family and friends, too many to name. James will be remembered for his kindness and love of others. James made our world a better place to be. Some friends knew James as Jim or Jimmy. Others called him the gentle one. He touched so many lives by his faithfulness, his integrity, and his loyalty. James came to Courtenay, BC November/1984. He worked for Home Hardware on Mission Hill. He cooked for a company in the Hayes Forest Services camp. After that he worked for Wal-mart till he became sick. We will have the many fond memories that will help us through our loss till we see James again. James will be missed but not forgotten. Their will be a Memorial held for James on July 8, 2006 at the Cumberland Recreational Institute, 2665 Dunsmuir Ave., Cumberland, BC 1:00pm. Speaker will be Dave Kelland.
