1932 - 2016
James Bert MacDonald passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK. Bert was born in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia on November 22, 1932. Bert joined the RCAF as an I/E Tech. He moved to Trenton, ON where he married Margaret Rose Allore. After the birth of their two
sons Michael and Stephen, they adopted a baby girl named Susan. The family was transferred to CFB in Comox, BC where Bert built a fine reputation for catching the big one. During his late
years Bert starred with the Comox Valley Rebel’s Senior Slow Pitch Team, the team had excellent success in the BC senior games winning several Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. As per James’ request no funeral service will be held. Condolences may be sent to the family at
