JAMES H. LAMBERT
October 16th, 1906 - June 22nd, 2005
James H. Lambert passed away peacefully at Glacier View Lodge on June 22nd 2005 at the age of 98 years. He was predeceased by his wife Winifred Lambert. James is survived by his sons Ronald (Katie) Lambert of Port Hardy and Terry (Carol) Lambert of Campbell River; his grandchildren; Tammy Courville, Valerie (Bill) Barnes, Walter Lambert, Aaron and Derrek (Christina) Quon; his great-grandchildren: Nicole, Janice, Veronica, Amanda, Terry Jr., Ashley, April, Cierra and Brandon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. James was a faithful member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Merville. Jim Lambert came from the early pioneers of the area and lived on Read Island for most of his life, raising his two sons there and in his later years he and Winnie retired to Comox. COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY entrusted with arrangements. Donations in Jim’s memory made to the Comox Valley 7th Day Adventist School, Box 520, Merville, B.C. V0R 2M0 would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
