In Loving Memory of James (Jim) McGillawee ~ Our dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.... quietly passed away on May 30, 2020 after receiving a wonderful 100th birthday send-off on May 14th.
He has left behind a huge hole in our family, but also, a treasure trove of memories. Dad's sense of humor, his memorable laugh, and his caring ways will forever be missed. He is survived by his three children: Carolyn (Milton) Moore, Sheldon (Dorothy) McGillawee, Sharon (Stu) Smith; 12 Grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid19, a small graveside service was held on June 8th at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
