It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Richard Gordon announce his passing on October 25, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox.
James was predeceased by his father James Gordon, mother Bertha Gordon and step-mother Jean. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, son Zachary, daughters Ryan (Jesse) and Meagan, brothers Don (Bev) and Kevin (Star), sister Terry (Bill), nieces and nephews and many other extended relatives and friends.
Heart and passion navigated him through life. James was a commercial fisherman for 38 years. His heart continued to bring him success. He was an amazing father and husband who always put his family first. Jim will always be remembered for his witty sense of humour, kind heart and the love for his dog Barney.
Thank you to Dr. Matous for kind and compassionate care and to all the nurses at Comox Hospice who took take of Jim the last 3 weeks.
