Perry James Robert
Unexpectedly passed away on
Wednesday, August 16, at the
age of 31. He is survived by his
loving wife Julie (nee: Mykitiuk),
mother Kathryn (Eggiman), stepfather David Johnson, father Wayne, stepmother Darlene and brother Christopher. He will be sadly and forever missed by his aunts: Jennifer, Susan, Marie, Gail and Christine; his uncles: Steven, Carl and Douglas Eggiman; and cousins: Michael, Brian, Victoria, Samantha, Breezy, Tara, Shawn, Tyler, Matthew, Tanner, Keegan, and Alexandria. His step-siblings: Steven, Jeff and Kathleen Buck, and his niece and nephews Alexandra, Tyler and Ethan will always cherish him in their hearts. James’ memory will also live on in the hearts of his in-laws: Nick & Jeannine Mykitiuk, Rick & Pat Mykitiuk, Randy Mykitiuk, and Sara & Leigh Harrison. James was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Fred & Maureen Eggiman, his paternal grandparents: George and Lillian Perry and his cousin, Morgan Spencer. Dieter & Costello, his faithful Dog & Cat, will undoubtedly miss his care and affection.
James touched everyone who knew and loved him. He lived life to the fullest, always quick to smile and known for his mischievous side, one could not help to be drawn in by his infectious laugh and enthusiasm. His adventurous nature could find him dangling from a rock face on one of his climbing expeditions, exploring a cave or collecting various creatures who he liked to call his friends.
A Celebration of James’ Life will be held at COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road, on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 1:00pm, at which time friends and family will come together to share reminiscences and love of James. Reception at the home of Nick and Jeannine Mykitiuk will follow the service.
