Jim passed away peacefully in the Extended Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital on August 19th, 2003 at the age of 69. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary Joan and her family and his son Kirk (Sharon), as well as many grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In accordance with Jim’s wishes there will be no formal ceremony and the family will remember Jim in their own way. Donations can be made as an expression of sympathy in Jim’s name to the charity of your choice. Private arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, 440 England Ave., Courtenay, BC.
