It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Betts, who left us peacefully on November 23, 2024 at the age of 60. She was known for her warm smile, generous spirit and quiet strength.
She leaves her husband Steve, daughter Melissa, son Ian, mother Judy and sister Tracey who she loved very much. Leaving also, sister-in-law Karen, niece Cassie, nephew Mike and great aunt Bev.
Jackie was born May 15, 1964 in Vancouver, growing up in Pitt Meadows until the family moved to the Comox Valley in 1978. She graduated from Highland Secondary School in 1982 where she had been very active in team sports.
In 1989 Jackie married Steve. They were married for 35 years and had two children, Ian and Melissa.
She had a successful career as a Chartered Professional Accountant with Wharram Standeven, Novecosky & Associates and MNP LLP.
Her interests ranged from golf, skiing, mountain biking, gardening and family.
Forever in our hearts, her love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A Celebration of Jackie's Life will be held on Saturday May 17th.
