June 24,1933 – August 12, 2016
Jeanne was pre deceased by her parents and her husband Lorne Loraas. She lived in many places throughout BC, eventually settling in Royston about 30 years ago.
Left to mourn are her daughters Sherill Barr (Bill) and Melanie Barr (George). She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren
Milissa, Krista, Adam, Morrie, Maureen Serena and Kirsten and 4 great grandchildren Aida, Claire, Isaac and August.
Jeanne was known for her love of music, art and writing.
Her family was very important to her.
A very special thanks to Corrie Albrecht, whose kindness and warm heart helped Jeanne maintain her dignity on her last days.
Funeral was held August 17th, 2016 at 11 am at Christ The king Catholic Church.
