Johanna (Joan) Mary Hyland passed away peacefully on Monday April 12, 2021 at the age of 83, predeceased by her sister Rose. Lovingly missed by her husband Andy, sons Paul (Jennifer) and David, grandchildren Katherine, Brendan, Laina and sister Bride.
Joan will be remembered for her love of life, family, and social gatherings with others. Her close friends in bowling, bridge and golf will always remember her laugh, smile and unforgettable competitiveness. Joan left this world always ready to brag about her family and the bargain she found shopping.
A celebration of life will be planned for later in 2021. Until such time, in lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
A special thank you to Dr. Jenny Ko and all the staff at the BC Cancer Agency located at Abbotsford hospital and the Ridge Meadows hospital staff that supported Joan and our family in her final days.
