DANSHIN,John
John of Courtenay, B.C passed away at the age of 81 on July 17, 2012.
He was born on October 26th, 1930 in Grand Forks, to the family of Nick and Nora Danshin (nee Markin).
John was the fifth child in their family of eight children; Nick, Mary, Lillian, Bernice, Nora, Elizabeth and Peter.
John worked in the Logging industry for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in the outdoors.
John was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Danshin, his infant brother, Peter and sisters, Lillian Anders and Nora Trumpour. His sister, Mary Epp passed away July 20, 2012.
He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Pankoff, Bernice and her husband, John Sukoveoff, brother Nick and wife Flo Danshin, 8 nieces and four nephews and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be set at a later date.
