John David Davis “Dave” passed away in Comox, BC on June 21, 2013. Dave is predeceased by his parents John L and Margarett Davis and sister Anne Davis. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan Davis, sons; Gord (Heather) and Dean (Stephanie), daughters; Kelly and Shelley, 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 great step grandchildren and 2 more to arrive in September and December, brothers; Mike (Penny) Davis and Larry Davis, sister Anne Morley, aunt Nora Davis and many nieces and nephews.
Dave was a well-loved grandpa, family man and great grandpa. He loved his family and grandchildren and they were his absolute joy. Papa is very much missed by all the children. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so wish donations in his memory made to B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 1225, Comox, BC V9N 7Z8, would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Dave’s life to take place on Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 1-4PM at K’omoks Band Hall, 3320 Comox Road, Comox.
