John passed away after a short illness on November 3, 2004. Born on January 10, 1935
and raised in the Comox Val-
ley and lived in Vancouver. Retired log scaler and bush pilot. Predeceased by parents Harold and Nancy Shaw, brothers Bob and George. Nephew Randal Shaw (Karen) of Nanaimo, niece Beverly Shaw (Tom) of Sechelt will remember Uncle John with great fondness. John requested no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
