JOHN ‘JACK’ SCHROTER

Sadly we announce the passing of ‘Jack’ who was in his 89th year.
‘Jack’ will be missed by his four children Lynn (Susan), Bryan (Linda) both of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Bruce (Linda) of Oliver, BC and Amber (Marc) Dufour of Comox, BC and adopted son Henry (Roxanne) Lee of Edmonton; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, sister Helen (Don) Jackson, brothers; Robert (Lois) and Allan (June), sister in laws: Vera and Maureen Schroter, numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Pauline, parents, Will and Nellie, sisters Phyllis and Doris, brothers Lawrence, Bert, Alec and Dick.
Jack and Pauline farmed in the Brookville, Alberta area for over 50 years. In 2007 they sold the farm, said good bye to their many good neighbors and moved to Comox, BC. to while away their last years under the BC skies. Jack is Alberta bound and will be buried at North Clover Bar Cemetery, just outside Edmonton, Alberta on Aug. 26, 2017.
