1954 - 2008
On July 6, 2008 our father and husband, John Ware, passed away suddenly after an 8 month battle with cancer. John was a committed family man and a great supporter of the community. A talented craftsman, John built a home in Pender Harbour and on the family farm in Dove Creek. John served in the Pender Harbour Fire Department for 17 years and was a great supporter and always ready to lend a hand in the Dove Creek Community. John worked as a log barge loader for Crown Zellerbach and SMIT Marine. John loved flying into the camps up and down the BC Coast.
John is survived by his wife Rosa, children Erik, Adam, Ryan and Lena, his mother Winnie and numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the family home on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 2-4pm.
