John Lindsay "Jack" McNaughton

Nov. 14, 1923 - April 25, 2008

Jack McNaughton passed away at New Horizons in Campbell River on April 25, 2008. He was predeceased by his loving wife Annabelle, his infant son Clifford, his parents and 9 siblings. Jack is survived and will be lovingly missed by his children: Cathy of Revelstoke, Lindsay (Earl) of Campbell River, Shelly (Gerald) of Courtenay, Jacki (Tom) of Campbell River, Bill (Terri) of Radium, Kim (Brian) of Campbell River and Alda (Lyle) of Red Deer, AB. He was also a proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 14 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jack served in the Navy during W.W. II and was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He worked in the logging industry until his retirement. In his leisure time Jack enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Jack's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 2770 Dunsmuir Ave. in Cumberland on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 2 p.m.
