John "Littlejohn" passed away unexpectedly March 28th at his home in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Predeceased by his father Robert M Little, step-dad Hessell "Mac" MacDougall, baby brother Robert Little, sister Joy Sherwood, brother in-law Barry Churchill and his Grandma Jessie Ross.

Survived by his mom Edythe MacDougall, brothers Jack MacDougall (Bonnie), Dean MacDougall (Diane), sisters Faye Churchill and Alexis Gagne (Carl), and many nieces and nephews.

John was born in Victoria, BC., living his younger years in the Courtenay and Campbell River area. After graduating from Carihi High in Campbell River, John started working in the mining industry which allowed him to travel BC., finally settling in Whitehorse. After an on the job accident brought his mining career to an end he retrained to become a bookkeeper and set up his own business until retirement.

John loved life in Whitehorse and always called it his home. He was very active with different service clubs and organizations where he established long time friendships.

We would like to thank the wonderful people of Whitehorse who helped us through this difficult time. John was right, it is "Gods" country.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Greenwood Manor in Whitehorse.
