Greatly loved and sorely missed by his wife and sweetheart Charleen, his sons Monty, John Ross and daughter Valerie and their families, sisters Betty, Shirley, Irene, Ruth and brother Slim. Special niece Laurie and all the grandchildren, extended family and all the many friends he made on the job and on his walks. He had a great appreciation of all he met. A hearty laugh, open arms and a kind gentle spirit.
A celebration of Doc’s life will be held Saturday, March 16th, 1:00 pm at Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Ave., Courtenay, Margaret Elliott officiating.
