Passed away peacefully at Comox Valley Seniors Village in Courtenay at the amazing age of 97.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, John served with the Canadian Navy in the Pacific during World War II and went on to work for the Canadian Government for 35 years as an Electrical Inspector.
He had a passion for RVing and carpet bowling which he enjoyed as long as he was able.
He was predeceased by his wife Verna and son-in-law Eric and is survived by his daughters Margaret (Doug) and Lois, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
John's ashes will be joined with his beloved wife Verna at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar, B.C.
