It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother “Lu”, on May 6, 2014, at the age of 73.
Lu was born on the 14th of March 1941 in St-Gerard, Quebec. He moved to the Comox Valley in October 1957.
Lu was in the RCAF from 1964 to 1984. Upon retiring from the military he relocated to the Comox Valley where he worked as a painter and later as a custodian at the Comox Mall.
Lu was predeceased by his beloved wife Lynda (nee Robinson), his parents Albert and Flore Royer, brother Gilles and sister Pauline Lundquist. Lu is survived by brothers Andy, Denis (Gloria), Gerry (Sandy), Guy (Pam), and Laurent and sisters Suzanne Duncan (Don), Lucie Lewis (Chester) and Jacqueline Delage (Marcel), his step-children Michael and Leslie Fahr and many nieces and nephews. Lu was greatly loved and will be missed by all family and friends.
As per Lu’s request, there will be no service. A private Celebration of Life was held May 10 for the family.
