Josie's children will always remember her extended family at Glacier View Lodge to whom the family are most grateful. We would also like to extend a huge virtual hug to Dr. Desmond Konway for his compassionate care and attention during the last years of her life. His supportive and comforting help has been a blessing for us all.
Josie prided herself in her work for over 25 years at CFB Comox. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Her volunteer work included the Comox Valley SPCA. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and perhaps her most enjoyable activity was going to "garage sales."
As per her wishes, Josie has been cremated followed by inurnment in the Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you wish, memorial donations may be made in Josie's memory to the Comox Valley & District Branch SPCA, YANA, or Glacier View Lodge.
