Judi Roberts

July 2, 1952 - February 20, 2021
Judi Roberts, aged 68, passed away on February 20th with her family by her side after a short but courageous battle with ALS.
Born in Regina, part of a military family, Judi saw much of Canada, landing in Nova Scotia
where she made many friends before her family moved to the Comox Valley in 1968. She met her husband Chris and married in 1970. Soon followed her daughter Jennifer and then son, Paul.
Judi spent 33 years working for Canada Safeway retiring the day before grandson Jamie was born. Granddaughter Olivia arrived a few years earlier. Judi relished her role as Grandma, taking care of them after school, playing games, going for boat rides, and baking endless sugar cookies with them for any occasion. Memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
While Judi's retirement was shorter than expected, it was full of many adventures with her loving husband of 51 years, Chris, as well as family and friends. Highlights include trips to Brazil, England, France, and New York as well as Disneyland and Mexico with her grandkids. Judi loved to cook and spent her free time sewing, stamping and doing yoga with her many friends.
Judi will be lovingly remembered by her husband Chris, daughter Jennifer, son-inlaw Jeff, son Paul, daughter-in-law Kathy, grandchildren Olivia and Jamie, brother Keith (Elizabeth), Sister Arlene, and sister-in-Law Sally (Ralph) and their families.
Many thanks to her dear, dear friends who have given so much for her and Chris over this tough time.
