Judith Matilda Ruth Pipe passed away on Tuesday January 16th, 2018. Born Judith Matilda Ruth Featherstone on December 7, 1957 in Sioux Lookout Ontario, Judy was a loving and hard working mother, wife, friend and community member.
For the past 11 years, she acted as manager of Jeanie's Vitamin Center in the Comox Mall, where she helped many patrons maintain good health and spirits. Judy brought a certain charm and personal touch to her transactions that bridged the gap between commerce and friendship. Customers would often stop in just to share a joke or kind word, or to catch one of her big, beautiful smiles.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her son Lucas and daughter Michelle (Wes), by her mother Barbara, and her sisters Wendy (Rod), Norma (Mike) and Susan (Dan).
She will also be forever remembered by her niece Karen, her nephews Grant, Steffen, Kyle Jordan and Jamieson, by her extended family and her many, many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband William Pipe and her father Orval Featherstone.
Judy was loved to the moon and back by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, and will forever remain in our hearts.
In celebration of Judy's life, a memorial dog walk will be held Saturday, February 3rd, at Mack Laing Nature Park. We will meet at the trail head on Mack Laing Crt., at 12 pm, rain or shine. This celebration is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mack Laing Heritage Society on Judy's behalf.
