Julia is now at peace with Jesus after passing away in her sleep on Feb. 23, 2018. She was 68 years old.
Julia is predeceased by her parents Earl and Barbara Palfrey, brother-in-law Bob Stewart and three nephews. She will be sadly missed by her sister Diane Stewart of Comox, nieces Laurel Peddie (Dave) of Fanny Bay, Jennifer Winship (Kevan) of Armstrong; two great-nieces, and five great-nephews. Julia will also be missed by her special friends Gail Mortimer, Ronnie Osmond, and Gail Lewis.
Julia's early years were spent with her parents in Victoria only moving to the Comox Valley after their deaths. Since then she has impressed many with her determined spirit and sense of humour. She enjoyed her daily trips to the mall, with her bunnies which were her constant companions, and visited with sales people and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. March 17th at 1:00 pm at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 218 Church St. in Comox with pastor Jim Lyster officiating. Following the service a reception will be held in the church hall.
