June 22, 1925 - March 22, 2003
“An Angel left the Earth Today”
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandma (Meem) and friend, June Stewart, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C. March 22, 2003.
June is survived and will be lovingly missed by her daughter Janice (Barry) Luck of Courtenay, 2 sons, Rob of Vancouver, Ken of Texas, granddaughter Jennifer (John) of Courtenay, great grandsons Jordan and Adrian, also many other relatives and many wonderful loving friends.
Predeceased by her husband Bill in 1984 and parents May and Lance Lock and brother Eddy.
She was born in Vancouver, living there until moving to Courtenay in 1987. June enjoyed people and her kind heart and sense of humour endeared her to mostly everyone she met along the way. Her family was the love of her life and will always cherish her total lifelong devotion to them.
The heart of a person really shows true,
When the struggles of life have made you grow blue,
Our hearts feel so sad and we don’t want you to go,
But there is comfort in knowing you’re pain free and so...
We will treasure our memories, Kiss you goodbye
and pray that one day you’ll be by our side,
You’ll not be forgotten, in our hearts we hold dear,
Your strengths and your kindness you showed
through all of your years,
So not a day will go by without a memory of you,
Many tears will be shed, as our hearts will
always miss you.
Thank you for showing me what beautiful was,
Till we meet again, Rest in Peace my sweet Meem.
