In Loving Memory ~
June was born and raised in Vancouver, BC where she had many life long friends and youthful adventures and eventually met her future husband, Dick Waite. Dick joined the armed forces in their early years and they were posted around the country, finally settling in the Comox Valley in the late 60's with their three children.
June had many interests. She joined sports teams, built homes, gardened and was a wonderful seamstress. We always said "she never met a zipper that she couldn't put in". Halloween was fun at her house, as were the 'grilled cheese Tuesdays' she often hosted. She loved her trips to the casino, even more when she won, and of course she loved her Vino!
June leaves behind her brother, two daughters as well as her many grand and great grand children. She will be greatly missed.
