Karrin Hart

(nee: Isbister)

On January 22, 2003 at age 50 Karrin passed away after a long, brave battle with cancer.

She was born in Dawson City, Yukon December 25, 1952. She moved to Denman Island when she was seven years old. Karrin spent most of her life on Denman Island and the Comox Valley, an area she loved. She had a great passion for animals and a special love of horses and dogs. Karrin had a great love for people and a big open heart to help anyone in need of anything. Her great sense of humour and happy personality touched many people.

She is survived by her husband Dave, daughter Bobbie-Gene, son Mike, brothers: Stuart and John Isbister, sisters: Dawn, Susan, Robbie and Lorraine. Karrin was predeceased by her son Allen, her mother Gene Isbister, her fathers: Marcus Isbister and Les Butterworth.

Karrin will be remembered dearly by her many friends especially in the horse and dog community. Her special dog friends: Blue, Tug, Paige, Ebony, Molly, and Jag will miss her love and affection most dearly.

Karrin requested no funeral but instead a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the B.C. Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Karrin is now in peace and may her next life be even better than the one she has left.

We all love you and you will
