Katherine Louise Reynolds
1919-2016
Louise died of natural causes in Courtenay, June 21. Born in P.E.I., she lived a full and eventful life as a teacher, civil servant, mother of four, diplomat's wife, world traveler, TV and radio researcher, hospital volunteer and author of two biographies and an extensive family tree. Predeceased by her husband Ralph, brother Munro and sister Ruth, she leaves behind her four children, Rennie[Sharon] in Comox, Carol in England, Gary in Campbell River and Jackie[Jim] in Ontario as well as eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
Louise eventually moved to Comox to be near family, spent eight happy years in the Berwick and her last five months in Seniors Village. The family wishes to thank especially Dr. Cortez and staff, Jenice Bacalor and all the staff in her final two homes for their attentive and compassionate care. There will be no service at her request.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
