Kathy passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 2, 2018 leaving behind hundreds of devastated friends and relatives around the globe. She was such a big-hearted, kind, caring, boisterous soul. She always tried to cheer people up with her unique sense of humour and positive outlook. Her innate curiosity led her to learn the life story of everyone she met, leaving her with hundreds of friends from all walks of life. She was incredibly generous and always there to lend a hand or an ear. She cooked like it was a form of art. Kathy made incredible meals and delicious elaborate baked goods.
More than anything, she loved to spend time with her incredible granddaughters Shy and Mackie. She was so proud of those precious girls, as well as her children Megan and Brendan. Kathy is also survived by her mother Imelda, sister Kim and brother Zac (Nicole), nephews Rocky (Teika), Ben (Alaska), Kieran and Liam and great-niece Nijel.
A Celebration of Kathy's Life was held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Fallen Alders Hall (3595 Royston Rd., Royston, BC).
