Keith was born and raised in Lacombe, AB where he grew up on the family farm. His favourite thing growing up was hockey and spending time with family and friends.
One of Keith’s biggest accomplishments was a national championship with the NAIT Ooks in 1996, where he also took his power engineering. After NAIT he met the love of his life Heather and moved out to Comox on Vancouver Island in 2004. While out at Comox he worked towards his Red Seal refrigeration ticket.
Keith sadly passed away on May 27, 2012 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
He spent his last few years playing his #1 passion of golf and hanging out with his friends and family. His passion and love for his young son Jake was like no other. Keith will forever be remembered to friends family and peers as a kind and gentle soul with a huge heart. Keith will sadly be remembered by his wife Heather, Son Jake, parents Art and Pam, sister JJ, nephew Colton. Father and mother-in-law Rudge; Jeannie Wilson, brother-in-law Ian, Leah, Ella, Rhys, Grandma Jessie Tunneson, Grandma Margaret Nadeau, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Keith’s Life will take place at Comox Valley Funeral, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Rd., Courtenay, B.C. On Friday June 1st, 2012 at 2:00PM.
