Kenneth Dale "KD" Macdonald

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Kenneth Dale "KD" Macdonald on Tuesday, 15 March, at the age of 93.
KD joined the RCAF in 1947 and enjoyed a rich and full life which included a 35 year career as an Air Traffic Controller. He was member of 888 (Komox) RCAF Wing from 1978 and served in numerous capacities including the President and Honorary President of the Wing.
KD is survived by his wife Marion ("Mini"), two children Robert James (Judy) and Janice Lee (Mark), 4 grandchildren Adam, Jonathan, Jennifer and Matthew, and 5 great-grandchildren Jack, Liam, Georgia, Faye and Florence.
A celebration of life will be held at the 888 RCAF Wing on Sunday, 27 March at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to donate to the 888 Wing Air Cadet Fund or the Comox Air Force Museum.
