Welsh - Kenneth William of Comox passed away at home with his family at his bedside; on Monday, May 6th, 2002, age 80. Ken is survived by his loving wife Joan, married 65 years and by his son Phillip (Cathy) Welsh and daughter Susan Durham, both of Comox. Also survived by his grandchildren; Gary (Nicole) Durham of Ottawa, Graeme Welsh of Comox and by his great-grandchildren; Stephanie and Alexander of Ottawa and by his niece Ann and many nieces and nephews.
Ken served in the R.A.F. and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and 888 Komox R.C.A.F. Wing. He loved to socialize and enjoyed his friendships and was very proud of his family and his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service for Ken will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. from 888 Komox R.C.A.F. Wing.
