Born June 11, 1962

Caledonia, Nova Scotia

Died July 31, 2012

Union Bay, BC

Kevin leaves to mourn his two beautiful sons, Alex Taul and Eric Taul of Wolfville, Nova Scotia; his mother, Marion Saltal of Ladysmith, sister Tammy (Joey) Arenburg of Nova Scotia; and his loving companion and partner, Julianne Kasmer of Cumberland, BC.

Kevin was an amazing man who inspired many people. After a near fatal car accident in January 1999, Kevin rebuilt a life filled with a passion for living and loving. Tai Chi was an incredibly instrumental part of Kevin’s recovery, and after his accident, he volunteered at the International Taoist Tai Chi Health Recovery Institute in Orangeville, Ontario. He then travelled extensively sharing his love of life at the Omega Institute, Esalen Institute in California, and especially at the Celebrate Your Life Conference in New Mexico before settling on Vancouver Island. His gift for inspirational speaking motivated many others to live life to the full.

Kevin leaves the legacy of his joy of living, and his ability to be present to others in a deep way. In the Comox Valley Kevin was a valued volunteer with the Comox Valley Hospice, and led a weekly meditation group at Cumberland United Church.

A small family service will be planned in Nova Scotia. Live life to the full, cherish those you love, love and never count the cost.
