In loving memory ~
On June 18th 2022 our dear Kim passed away after a brief battle with Cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife Elizabeth (nee McKenzie) and 3 adored daughters, Julia, Devon and Holly. His Sisters Wendy Wilson (Joe), Kate Anthony (Heemi) and brother Andrew Phillips (Anna). Sister in-law Marg McKenzie, Brothers-in-law Paul McKenzie (Bonnie), Ian McKenzie. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Born in Southport England, moving between New Zealand and England till his parents settled in the Vancouver area. He graduated with a BComm from UBC and worked for many years as a public company administrator. His passion was Field Hockey. He played throughout his youth, at UBC, the Vancouver Rowing club (Jokers) and here in the Comox Valley. Playing, refereeing and coaching with the CV Eagles. Many joyful hours were spent driving his daughters and other team mates to games on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland.
