Dack, Laurel Eleanor passed away on January 16, 2021 at Comox BC. Born in North Vancouver BC on April 27, 1945.
Laurel was born in West Vancouver the youngest of 3. Her family moved to Victoria when she was quite young. It was here in her late teens she found her passion for horses and was thereafter never without a horse.
Laurel's favorite things to do included all kinds of animals. She loved to help others through teaching horse riding and cart driving lessons. Laurel had a terrific group of longtime friends, Ian and Jan as well as "the Golden Girls" with whom she had many adventures and laughs.
Laurel was most happy and content when she was riding J.B. Johnathan, her horse of 35 years.
She was predeceased by her mother Eleanor, father George as well as her eldest brother Rob.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Alan (Kim), brother Brian (Sheila), sister in law Drea (Rob) and her nieces and nephews; Chris, Brenda, Sandra, Glen and Doug.
At Laurel's request there will be no service.
