Lawney (Skip) Rines
January 28, 1944 ~ March 15, 2007
On March 15, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Skip Rines at St. Joseph’s. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Jackie Rines and survived by his children: Christopher, Kim, Tui (Darrell), Lori (Graham), Carla (Sean), and his ten grandchildren.
Skip was a Master-Sergeant in the Air Force and served multiple terms with NATO on peace keeping missions. Upon retirement, he was an avid gardener and loved to work with wood in his shop. Skip was much loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Many thanks to his mother-in-law Madlen, brother and sister-in-law Les and Eunie for their extra love and support during this difficult time. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and Pastor Gordon Carter for their compassionate care.
