Leslie Edward Shaw passed away on October 26, 2007 at the age of 46. Lovingly remembered by his parents, Ray and Eleanor Shaw; brothers, Ray “Lucky” of Spain and Terry of Vancouver; sisters: Patty (Lee) Hawley of Port McNeill and Rose (John) McLeod of Courtenay; nieces and nephew: Chantelle McLeod of Courtenay, Jenny Hawley of Port McNeill, Heather (Clint) of New Westminster, Curtis (Shannon) of Edmonton and Jackie (Brian) of Vancouver, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins of BC, Washington, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Leslie and Rose Shaw of Candiac, PQ, Frank and Marie Clark, auntie, Doreen Clark, uncle, Rob Sepass all of Chilliwack, BC.
A time of remembrance will be held at the Lower Native Sons Hall, 360 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay on Saturday, December 8, 2007 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Les’ name to the C.V. Therapeutic Riding Society or to the Paraplegic Association.
