Bullen, Leslie James
While it stormed throughout the night, the storm finally subsided for Leslie. Quietly with his Dad and Mom at his side and his sisters not far away, Leslie peacefully took his last breath on Friday, November 10, 2006, at the age of 43.
“Sonshine” is lovingly remembered by his parents, Glenn and Sally; son, Christopher; sisters: Lora Lee (Maarten) and Maxine (Harvey); Christopher’s Mom, Roxanne; nieces and nephews: Adrienne, Vincent, Nigel, Sadie, Alyssa, Kyle, Kurt and Stevie-Marie; many aunts and uncles, cousins and close friends. Predeceased by his grandparents, Alf and Margaret Brown and George and Jean Clark; and his cousins: Glenn Bullen and Greta Langley.
The family would like to thank Dr. Engman and Dr. McNie and the nurses and hospital staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital for their wonderful care.
A Celebration of Leslie’s life will be held on Saturday, November 25th at 2:00pm in the dining room of the Sooke Community Hall, 2037 Eustace Rd. Afterwards, weather permitting, Leslie requested a gathering and bonfire at Gordon’s Beach.
Flowers gratefully declined; sharing stories of Leslie would be welcomed.
